The United States has emerged as the leading country in Real World Assets (RWA) crypto interest, holding 14.8% of the global market share in 2024, as reported by CoinGecko. This solidifies the US as a dominant player in the RWA crypto space, much like it has been in other crypto sectors such as small-cap tokens and AI-driven cryptocurrencies.
Countries Leading in RWA Crypto Interest According to CoinGecko’s data, Ondo Finance (ONDO) is the most favored RWA protocol among US investors, accounting for nearly half of the country’s engagement with RWA crypto. The US also tops global interest in protocols like Goldfinch (GFI) and Maple (MPL), drawing nearly a third of the worldwide focus on these assets.
Following closely behind the US, Indonesia and Türkiye rank second and third, with 10.1% and 8.0% of global interest, respectively. Unlike the US, these nations are more broadly engaged with the RWA crypto narrative rather than focusing on specific protocols.
Global RWA Crypto Interest Distribution Other countries in Southeast Asia, including Vietnam (2.9%), the Philippines (2.2%), and Singapore (1.2%), are also notable players in the RWA crypto market. India is the only South Asian nation in the top 20, securing 6.3% of global interest, placing fourth overall. In South America, Brazil leads the region with a 3.3% share, ranking ninth globally. Nigeria is the leading African nation, sitting in 16th place with a 1.5% share.
In Europe, the United Kingdom leads with 5.6% of global interest in RWA crypto. France is the top country in the European Union, holding a 3.9% share. Six EU nations appear in the global top 20.
Collectively, the top 20 countries account for a significant 81.8% of global interest in RWA crypto in 2024.
