- Ripple’s XRP is exploding by more than 10% daily while Bitcoin is consolidating around $35K.
Ripple is by far the strongest performer among the main cryptocurrencies today. Bitcoin’s price appears to be settling around $35K, giving breathing room to altcoins, which are erupting left and right.
Bitcoin’s Price Is Unable To Rise Above $35,000
Bitcoin’s price appears to be stuck at $35K, as it has been unable to break beyond it for quite some time. The cryptocurrency has traded entirely flat over the last 24 hours, but has climbed by 2% over the last week.
However, as the chart below shows, it was not exactly plain sailing for BTC on the last day.
As can be seen, the price has been on a mini-roller coaster over the past 24 hours, with neither sellers nor buyers gaining decisive control. As a result, Bitcoin is presently trading at the same level as yesterday.
However, its market domination is dwindling and is now less than 50%. This indicates that cryptocurrencies are taking advantage of BTC’s indecision and are rising in value as a result.
Ripple (XRP) is Leading The Altcoin Rally
Ripple has increased by more than 10% in the last 24 hours, making it the undisputed best performer throughout that time frame. The cryptocurrency is currently attempting to reach $0.7, and it will be interesting to see if it can do so.
With rare exceptions, the majority of altcoins are trading in the green. Solana (SOL) appears to be taking a pause from its remarkable run, and it will be interesting to see if it can continue to perform as well as it did last week.
The best-performing cryptocurrency among the top 100 is NEO, which is up nearly 14%, followed by KuCoin’s KCS, which is up 11%.
On the opposite end of the scale, EGLD is down 8% in the last 24 hours but up over 50% in the last seven days.
